The beauty of Palazzo Cipolla

Palazzo Cipolla is the exhibition venue of the Museo del Corso – Polo Museale dedicated to presenting temporary exhibitions of outstanding artistic quality, organized in collaboration with leading Italian and international museums and cultural institutions. The museum also offers an extensive program of cultural events.

Built in the nineteenth century, the building was designed by the architect Antonio Cipolla and is located on Via del Corso in Rome, opposite the headquarters of Fondazione Roma, housed within Palazzo Sciarra Colonna.

The vault

At the heart of Palazzo Cipolla, the former vault of the historic Cassa di Risparmio di Roma has been transformed into a living archive of artistic treasures. Reimagined as an accessible and narrative space, it welcomes visitors on a unique journey that brings together memory, art, and discovery.

Access to the vault of Palazzo Cipolla is included in the “Hidden Treasures” and “Works in Dialogue” itineraries.
